Concord & 9th – Garden Path Stencil Card

β€”

Hi Friends! Happy Wednesday and thank you for reading my FIRST blog post 🫢🏻

Today I am sharing a card I put together for a Spring Instagram hop. The theme prompt this week was “April Showers bring…” and I immediately thought May flowers! Using products from the Concord and 9th March 2023, I made a quick and easy one-layer card. Layering stencils have become my favorite way to craft and the Garden Path layering stencil is no exception.

To get started I pulled out a piece of Nina Classic Crest cardstock in Solar White 110lb cut to 6×6. Using corners of the Misti is the easiest way for me to line up stencils and so I placed my cardstock and the first stencil in the corner and started blending.

The larger flowers are blended with Pink Lemonade and Buttercup. The smaller flowers are done with Nectar, Watermelon, and Honeysuckle. And the leaves have Parsley and Rainforest. Though there is a stencil that allows you to blend a color on the background, I decided to skip that one and leave this one white. I love the look of a clean and simple white background. And finally, to complete the card I added a sentiment from the Garden Path stamp set.

This card was really quick to put together, which sometimes you need! Thank you for stopping by and hope this bring some inspiration and smiles your way 😘
